David Lucatch: Founder and Head of Global Innovation
Founder and Head of Global Innovation, spent more than 25 years developing business concepts and taking them to market and has held senior management posts at both private and public media and technology firms. Throughout his business career he has been an active supporter of a number of organizations and has been recognized internationally for his service and support. David graduated in 1985 from the University of Toronto and continues to serve as mentor for both the university and the Management Economics Student Association programs. In 2010 David was a recipient of an Arbour Award from the University of Toronto, recognizing his continued activities and contributions to his alma mater.
Nathan Brandt: VP of Business Development
Nathan brings his expertise in innovation and technology to his role as vice president of business development at Yappn Corp. He specializes in both launching brands and increasing companies’ revenue exponentially.
Prior to joining the Yappn team, Nathan worked within the fashion and e-commerce industries, including key roles at Saturdays Surf NYC, Karmaloop Inc., and NuORDER.
Nathan has worked in Australia, Europe, and the United States.
Marc Saltzman: Director
Marc has reported on the technology industry since 1996 as a freelance journalist, author, lecturer, consultant, and radio and TV personality. Along with his weekly syndicated columns with Gannett, Marc currently contributes to USA Today, USA Today.com, Yahoo! (U.S. and Canada), CNN.com, MSN and AARP – The Magazine. Additionally, he writes and hosts “Gear Guide,” a technology-focused video that runs nationally across Canada at movie theaters.
Marc’s extensive knowledge of the technology industry, interactive entertainment and online/social media trends is what made him an immediate candidate to serve on the board of directors.
