Ed Karthaus has more than 30 years of experience in the technology, financial services and telecommunications industries. He was previously the COO of Teneda Inc. and has held senior executive leadership roles at Prophix Software Inc., D+H, Filogix LP and NCR Canada. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Research, Innovation and Commercializaton Centre (RIC Centre) and remains an Advisor today. Ed began his career with Xerox Canada and Oracle Canada.
Craig brings 10 years of experience to his role as Yappn Corp.’s Chief Financial Officer. As a senior manager in the assurance practice, Craig’s professional background involves extensive experience with publically traded technology entities in both Canada and the United States. Prior to joining Yappn, Craig held senior positions at Intertainment Media Inc. and Ernst and Young. He is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and holds an H.BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Prior to joining Yappn, Mr. Taylor was the CEO of Resolver Inc. from 2002 until 2015 when the company was sold to Klass Capital. During his tenure at Resolver, Mr. Taylor oversaw all aspects of the business including Sales, Marketing, Technology, M&A, Finance and Investor Relations. Prior to Resolver, Mr. Taylor was an instrumental part of Cyberplex’s growth
in revenue from $1 Milllion to almost $40 Million over a five-year period. He spoke extensively at conferences on various topics within Governance, Risk & Compliance (“GRC”) and advised numerous Fortune 1000 companies on implementing GRC programs.
Mr. Pearlman has over 25 years background in all facets of technology and business development combined with an extensive relationship network and global technology market knowledge. He was the President of Enghouse Systems Limited (TSX: ESL) for six years, where he was responsible for the operational management of a global
software development company serving the needs of multiple verticals with a diversified offering of enterprise software and service solutions. Prior to working for Enghouse, Mr. Pearlman was the CIO for Valu-net Corporation for six years and was responsible for the operational management of one of the first leading edge eCommerce development companies in North America
Robert became general manager of Yappn Corp. at its inception and is responsible for the daily operations of the corporation. He supports and participates in all matters of the business including sales and marketing, champions the process improvements of all departments, and as a multi-team leader he is responsible for the output planning, and results, of all Yappn’s production initiatives.
Robert’s past employment experiences provide him expertise in production flows, team management and business development and acquisitions. In his spare time, Robert is an active Scout leader, RC hobbyist, and enjoys extreme sports, including wakeboarding and snowboarding.
Lynn has been a vice president of Yappn Corp. since inception. She manages and oversees all corporate operations including administration, human resources, securities, investor relations and public relations. She has an extensive background in each area having previously held positions in both public and private firms.
Jeanny So brings over 15 years of experience in creating and executing global communication programs for hundreds of publicly-listed companies. She draws from a diverse background in corporate, financial, sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining Yappn, Ms. So was the Director of Operations at CHF Investor Relations, a leading investor relations consulting firm,
where she managed investor relations and corporate communications for publicly-listed companies. Through her networks, Jeanny raised over $100 million for micro and small cap companies. Previously, Ms. So worked at Sentry Investments (formerly Sentry Select) and during her five year tenure there, she played a key role in improving their network of contacts and expanding sales, growing the funds under management from $30Million to $5Billion.
